Frequently Asked Questions on Leaving the Mountain

FAQ - I Want off the Mountain!

Q: Will my inventory have to be re-created in your software?

A: No – we simply import your current inventory into our Total Recall software.  Your current, soon- to-be former vendor’s barcode label number is visible alongside the DBA barcode for future reference.

Q: Do we have to get all of our records delivered back to our offices before you take responsibility for them?

A: No – your DBA Account Manager co-ordinates the pick-up of your records at their record center.

Q: Do we have to re-barcode our boxes?

A: No.  Upon receipt our staff affixes a DBA barcode alongside your former vendor’s barcode.  We scan both barcodes which simply indexes the former label identifier with the new DBA barcode.  These identifiers are visible via our Total Recall web interface.

Q: What are the costs associated with moving our account to DataSite?

A: DBA views the move to our service as an investment in a long term, mutually beneficial relationship.  Therefore, we do not charge you for the initial re-location.   With respect to off-setting account closing costs, DBA views each situation individually.  The good news is that historically we have been able to offer relief ranging from storage credits, to partial or even total reimbursements.

Q: Do we have to sign a long term agreement?

A: DBA is very flexible about contract length at term.  Our view is that delivery consistent quality service is the reason our customers stay with us, not a contract.

Q: What percentage of DBA business has been a result of easing the pain of those with altitude sickness?

A: Over 37% of our business is a result of consumers concluding that our service offering is superior to their former vendors.

Q: How do I learn more about getting some relief?

A: Simple.  E-mail us, or complete the information request form here, or call us at 206-529-1234.
